Michel Coté

Biography
Michel Côté has been a prominent provincial and national wrestling coach for the last 35 years. He is the first New Brunswick’s wrestling coach to be certified Level 5 from the Coaching Association of Canada; a program from which he will become an instructor in his later career. As a wrestling coach he was a four-time team coach at the Canada Games. Côté was also a Board of Governor for both Wrestling New Brunswick and Wrestling Canada. In New Brunswick, Côté introduced wrestling programs in numerous intermediate and high schools, and also trained young physically and cognitively impaired athletes. Michel Côté has been inducted to the Bathurst Sports Hall of Fame in 2013 and has won twice the coach of the year Compass Award.
