The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fames latest exhibit titled “Racism in Sports” features our six black hall of famers. This exhibit was created to get people to think about the obstacles and challenges that our black athletes and builders have tackled while achieving great success such as being shut out from participation, lack of support, no credit given, and difficulty with access to sports due to racism.
Our goal at the NB Sports Hall of Fame is to remember history as it truly was so it's not repeated and give credit where it’s due! As we say…by honouring our best, we inspire the rest!
