Hockey and baseball have been his main sport beats. He was instrumental in the founding of the New Brunswick Amateur Hockey Association, and has served that body and its national counter-part, the C.A.H.A. with distinction in a variety of senior executive positions. His contributions to amateur baseball have run the gamut from team manager to federation director.
