Jacques LeBlanc, of Memramcook, started boxing at age 13 and went on to enjoy a 15 year professional career, fighting against some of the toughest fighters in the world. His record of going 329 rounds without ever being stopped, knocked down or a taking a standing count puts him among the most resilient boxers in Canadian history. He was considered a world-class competitor and defensive specialist. As a professional, LeBlanc counted the Canadian Junior Middleweight and Canadian Middleweight championships among his five titles. He won the Commonwealth Middleweight Eliminator competition and fought for the Commonwealth title. An inductee in the Moncton Sports Wall of Fame, he remains involved with his sport inspiring the next generation of young boxers. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, Jun 9, 2012
