Biography
Born in Chatham, Frank Synott was a two-time Olympic silver medalist in hockey. He played senior hockey for the Chatham Ironmen before moving to the Boston area in 1914, where he competed in the United States National Hockey League. He captained the U.S.A. hockey team and led them to a silver medal at the 1920 Summer Olympics. Four years later, at the first-ever Winter Olympics in Chamonix, France he scored six goals in five games to secure another silver for the U.S.A.
