Biography

The Campbellton Tigers became the first team to win three Hardy Cup championships, emblematic of Canadian intermediate A and Senior AA hockey supremacy. Playing in the competitive New Brunswick Senior Hockey League, the Tigers finished first in the regular season with 18 wins and two ties in 28 games. On road to the final, they swept three of four playoff series with an amazing 20 wins and two losses, culminating with sweeping the Quesnel Kangaroos in the national final. A hallmark of the Tigers was strong team spirit, which won them the hearts of their hometown. Inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 8, 2013
