Biography

He is well known and respected for at least 100 accomplishments - 48 related to his career as a competitor from Junior to Willingdon Cup; and another 52 as a builder, including every conceivable office from Club Captain to NBGA Honorary Life Governor. His contributions are many, varied and unique, including membership on Willingdon Cup teams representing each of the Atlantic Provinces. But none is greater than the role he played in the organization, promotion and nurturing of junior golf locally, provincially, and nationally as chair of the RCGA’s Junior Development Committee. For over 30 years he did it all when it most needed to be done – and did it well!No wonder he was referred to as “ ...the envy of every golfer over 35 and the dream of every golfer under 35.” Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 7th, 2003.
