Biography

Dalhousie native, Kevin Foran, achieved outstanding results in hockey while attending Mount Allison University. He became the leading scorer in C.I.S. hockey, making history in 1983; a record he still holds. During this time he was Rookie of the Year, Athlete of the Year and named to the AUAA all-star team for 3 consecutive years and in 2008 was rated third best CIS player by The Hockey News. Foran was selected to the Pre-Olympic Team in 1982-83 which played a cross-county tour against a team from Russia. After university graduation he played and coached in Spain. He was inducted into the Dalhousie Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
