Biography
John G. LeBlanc of Campbellton was a veritable scoring machine at nearly every hockey level in which he competed.In 804 professional games, he had 427 goals and 768 points.LeBlanc scored 30 goals in each of his first 10 pro seasons.He set an Atlantic University Hockey Conference record of 38 goals in 1985-86 with UNB and was all-Canadian as well as the nation’s top player.He played 83 NHL games with Vancouver, Edmonton and Winnipeg, scoring 26 goals.LeBlanc was the top scorer with Fredericton Express, New Brunswick Hawks and Cape Breton Oilers of the American Hockey League, including a league-high 54 goals.He also won a team rookie-of- the-year and MVP honors in the AHL.
