Biography

The characteristics of a coach are as many and varied as the coach themselves.Included on such a list are dedication, enthusiasm, commitment, a will to win, and as a concomitant of all these, success. Eugene “Foggy” Boudreau was that kind of coach and his success over a twenty-five year period with the Lewisville and Moncton Keefe Junior Baseball Teams are his testament; ten New Brunswick- Prince Edward Island and seven Maritime titles are more than enough to qualify him as the first coach enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 7th, 1975.

  • Coached the Lewisville Keefe Cubs to four consecutive provincial Junior baseball titles in 1951-54, three NB-PEI titles (1952-54) and two Maritime titles (1953-54) 

  • Coached Moncton Keefe Cubs to five Maritimes titles from 1958-71 

  • Coached Moncton Schooners to provincial senior title in 1964
