Biographie
His sixteen year career began in 1984 with his starring role on Team Atlantic and ended in the year 2000 when he suffered a concussion in the Swiss Elite League. In between he scored some 414 goals and 522 assists for an average of over 60 points per season. Rookie of the year, leading scorer, most valuable player, all-star, most sportsmanlike player- these were a few of his kudos.Team Canada membership in World Championship, Spengler and Deutschland Cup competitions were features of his last few years as an AHL and international star. He may have played in only 38 NHL games with Boston and Detroit, but that was more a reflection on the physical criteria applied by pro scouts and their major league bosses than on the magic and intensity that he brought to every game, regardless of level. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 3rd, 2006.
