Biographie
Patricia Nolan-Edwards of Bathurst, has had a successful sports administration career spanning over the course of 5 decades. She has held a pivotal role in developing female golf in New Brunswick and beyond. Most notably, as the 43rd President of the Canadian Ladies Golf Association, she developed a partnership framework with the Men’s Royal Canadian Golf Association that will later become Golf Canada. Nolan-Edwards has also held important administrative roles in figure skating at the provincial and at the national level. In 1988, she was designated Canadian Championship Precision Judge in figure skating. Also in 1988, she was selected to be the master trainer for Eastern Canada, a position she occupied until 2000. Nolan-Edwards has received numerous awards and lifetime achievement recognitions from national and international sports organizations for her outstanding involvement throughout her sports career. Patricia Nolan-Edwards was inducted into the Bathurst Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 .

Received Honorary Life Governor designation with the royal Canadian Golf Association in 2010.
