Tom Coolen of Fredericton has seen the world from behind the bench in hockey arenas across the globe. He has coached university, junior, and minor professional teams in North America, as well as professional teams in nine European countries. He served as an assistant coach with the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and with Latvia at the 2014 Winter Olympics. A two-time CIS men’s hockey coach of the year, he left university hockey as the winningest coach in Atlantic University Sport history.
