We have a veriety of Summer Employment positions available. If you consider yourself to be a mature and enthusiastic people person with a strong desire to gain valuable experience, we want you on our team. The positions will appeal to Kinesiology, Business Management, Education, and History undergraduates looking for work in a dynamic and fun environment.
The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, celebrates New Brunswick's rich sports heritage. Through exhibitions, programming, and outreach, the NBSHF tells the amazing stories of New Brunswick's most accomplished athletes and sport builders. By honouring our best, we inspire the rest.
LOCATION: 503 Queen Street in the Heart of Fredericton's Historic Garrison District

The successful candidates will assist with the delivery of fun filled summer programming, engage with customers, develop exhibits, work with artefacts, interact with Hall of Famers, conduct research, and assist with Special Events.

Compétences et qualifications:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to tell stories and deliver engaging tours in both English and French is necessary
Willingness to work some Saturdays and Thursday evenings throughout the summer is necessary
Friendly person with exceptional customer service skills and experience dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds
Solid organizational and administrative skills, plus ability to work well independently or within a team
Ability to learn and retain historical sport information
Proven track record for demonstrating initiative and being a problem solver
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Previous interpretation, education, or theatrical experience
Previous experience working in a museum and/or archival collections
Knowledge and interest in sport and/or heritage
