Biographie

Don Eagle moved to Fredericton from his native Halifax in 1964 to enter the Physical Education degree program at UNB; he has never left. His coaching record includes Provincial, Canada Games and University teams. Administratively, he has served in capacities as varied as founder of his community club to official Canadian delegate to the International Gymnastics Federation. And, as an official, he has judged at the Pan-American, World and Commonwealth Games in Europe Asia, Central and North America. His contributions to Canadian Gymnastics led to his selection as manager of our 1988 Olympic Team in Seoul, South Korea. It can be said that everywhere the sport of gymnastics is practiced, this Eagle has landed.
