William "Bill" Tracy, of Sackville, competed in eight sports in an amazing athletic career that began in 1939. His greatest success came in curling when he participated in four Briers after skipping rinks to the Quebec Men’s championships in the 1950s and ‘60s. He also won two Quebec Mixed curling titles and once curled a perfect game. Tracy was an outstanding hockey player and track and field athlete while at Mount Allison University, where he is considered a sports legend. Tracy also excelled in tennis, golf, rugby, baseball and bowling at university and elsewhere. He is a member of the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame and Sackville Sports Wall of Fame. Tracy, 91 at the time of his induction, continues to curl and to assist young curlers improve their game. Enrolled into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 9, 2012
