Biographie

The record shows that more than 2,000 young men and young women have been touched by Rod Wilson's coaching and teaching in his 28 years of service to the youth of his adopted St. Stephen. But that's just the beginning of what continues to be his tremendous contribution to baseball in Canada at every level. For, in addition to leading midget, juvenile, high school and junior teams to gold, silver or bronze at the provincial, Interscholastic, atlantic, national and Canada Games levels, he continues to contribute through his work with coaching certification, with the National team programs, and most recently, through his scouting on behalf of the Toronto Blue Jays. It's clear that he carries on a baseball tradition that began with those Charlotte County Hall of Fame teams and players of the 1930s. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 4, 1988.
