Moncton is where he was born and Moncton is where he has chosen to devote his energy and skills to the service of youth and to his sport, - hockey. His all-star play with the 1981 national university champions, les Aigles Bleus, led to his selection by the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames. During the next eight years he plied his trade in some 290 games in Calgary, St. Louis and Hartford, and another 194 with their American and Central league affiliates. Having been bitten by the coaching bug during a three-season stint in France, he returned home to join the A.H.L.'s Moncton Hawks as an assistant coach, and to launch his very successful network of hockey schools. In March of 1999 it was "deja vu all over again" when he returned with les Aigles Bleus to the national intercollegiate finals, - this time as a member of the coaching staff. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 5th, 1999.
