Junior Presenter

Are you a high school student with a passion for storytelling and a flair for the dramatic? Are you eager to dive into the rich tapestry of New Brunswick's athletic history and bring its tales to life? If so, we want you to join our team at the New Brunswick Hall of Fame!

About the Position:

The Opportunity: 


We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic high school student to join us as a Summer Storyteller. In this full-time position, you will have the unique opportunity to learn about New Brunswick’s Sporting History, present to audiences and tour groups, and work alongside a small and dedicated staff. There may also be opportunities to continue at the Hall of Fame in a part-time role after the summer.


Responsibilities may include:

· Conducting tours

· Greeting and informing visitors to the Hall of Fame

· Re-imagining moments of sporting excellence

· Brainstorming innovative ideas to engage wider and younger audiences

Skills and Qualifications:


Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work some Thursday evenings & Saturdays throughout the summer is      necessary

  • Well organized, mature and self-driven candidates are desired

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

  • Background in public speaking or theatre is considered an asset

  • Knowledg and interest in sport and/or heritage would be considered an asset

  • Experience in museum, not-for-profit, or tourism industries would be considered an      asset
